WE STARTED WITH A SIMPLE QUESTION: WHAT IF WE STOPPED MANAGING HOMELESSNESS AND STARTED SOLVING IT?
In 2019, co-founders Van Roberts and Teri Harrison saw the same cycle repeat endlessly in the Antelope Valley: families evicted, children entering foster care, veterans isolated, youth trapped in violence. Traditional nonprofits provided temporary relief—a meal, a night's shelter—but the problems persisted.
They envisioned something radically different: an organization that addresses root causes, not symptoms. One that mobilizes entire communities, not just social workers. One that uses creativity and entertainment to break stigma and inspire action.
Today, Voices of Our Youth serves nine counties across California and Nevada, pioneering innovative programs that keep families together, empower veterans, prevent youth violence, and combat human trafficking.
From Services to Solutions isn't just our motto—it's our measurable commitment.
We leverage the power of arts and entertainment to improve the financial and social well-being of youth, individuals, veterans, families, and communities.
We create a culture that celebrates diversity, prosperity, and integrity—where every person's voice matters and every individual can thrive.

We envision communities where arts and entertainment aren't luxuries—they're tools for justice, healing, and empowerment. Where a Harry Potter event can unite law enforcement and at-risk youth. Where a spoken word performance can prevent a suicide. Where a boxing ring can teach conflict resolution.
This is the world we're building. And we invite you to join us.

A community isn't just neighbors—it's a village that rises together, supports each other, and leaves no one behind.
We don't do things forpeople. We do things withthem—breaking barriers, fostering self-worth, and building agency.
Every background, voice, and perspective is valued. We create spaces where differences are celebrated, not tolerated.
Our coalitions include unlikely partners—from sheriff's departments to biker clubs, from corporate sponsors to street outreach teams.
We cultivate a culture of care where community members uplift one another through empathy, kindness, and tangible action.
We confront systemic injustices head-on—addressing homelessness, violence, trafficking, and inequality with courage and innovation.
Your voice shapes the programs we create. Your participation drives the change we make. This is community-led transformation.
We leverage celebrity influence and entertainment value to capture attention, shift narratives, and mobilize resources. Our events aren't fundraisers—they're experiences that transform hearts and minds.
We've united over 50 organizations—from CoreCivic correctional facilities to luxury real estate firms to motorcycle clubs—proving that when everyone has a role, everyone wins.
We don't just feed the hungry; we address why they're hungry. We don't just shelter the homeless; we prevent homelessness. Root causes, not band-aids.
89% of every dollar goes directly to programs. We publish impact metrics, not just feel-good stories. You deserve to know your investment is working.
